That’s me, the little one, with my oldest brother Doug. Smug looks, squinty eyes, happy smiles and the window behind us where my mother heard me swearing for the first time. It was from that window that she called me back into the house and demanded I submit to having my mouth washed out with soap. I can’t say I submitted but she succeeded. It was a different world then. Living in the country, simple pleasures, healthy life, Mum and Dad.
Hi everybody; Wow; time is passing very quickly now and we have been just finalising the details with the house renovations. Today the photos, for our photo wall, are going to be selected and printed. When we have those up and done, we will be well and truly organised. I'll do a little bit of gardening out the back and that's about all there is to be done. Tomorrow will be a big day, I am going up to the caravan and I will be pulling all of the stuff out to clean it and just do some preparation. The cover will come off and I have to fix the new Jockey wheel to the van. Today's post is just a few comments to remind you all that I am still here and keeping the blog going until we get on the road in Ernest. That is when I will start to blog some real information about our trip. Thank's for continuing to check out our blog, I see that there is a constant stream of visits! Richard
