Today is another day and another step towards getting into that Van and heading off on our next adventure. Yesterday two of the posts for the retaining wall have been cemented into place and the sleepers have been purchased. We can't wait to get this house renovation finished so that we can focus on some planning for our trip.

I dove into the wardrobe yesterday to dig out my Camp 8 book and started planning the initial travel route up to Burrum Heads and then across to the northern Territory. The decisions we have to make are whether or not to go north to Charters Towers and then across or head straight for Longreach at Rockhampton. Well for now those decisions can wait until the house is done!

Hi everybody; Wow; time is passing very quickly now and we have been just finalising the details with the house renovations. Today the photos, for our photo wall, are going to be selected and printed. When we have those up and done, we will be well and truly organised. I'll do a little bit of gardening out the back and that's about all there is to be done. Tomorrow will be a big day, I am going up to the caravan and I will be pulling all of the stuff out to clean it and just do some preparation. The cover will come off and I have to fix the new Jockey wheel to the van. Today's post is just a few comments to remind you all that I am still here and keeping the blog going until we get on the road in Ernest. That is when I will start to blog some real information about our trip. Thank's for continuing to check out our blog, I see that there is a constant stream of visits! Richard
