Hallelujah, Hallelujah, our retaining wall and steps at the front of the house have been finished. Janelle and I are so glad that it is finally finished. Now, it just clean up the mud and mess on the fence and driveway and then remove all of our unwanted stuff from the garage before I paint in the garage. Lord, Lord, I can see the light; at the end of the tunnel that is!

Sorry I promised that I would have a link to a Wikicamps map detailing the rough idea of our upcoming trip but I apologise it is not yet finished. Eventually I will get it up and running so that everyone can see where we are going.

I hope my ramblings are not too boring, I'm still getting used to writing a post every couple of days.

Wishing you all well!

Breakfast Magazine at “The Bananas”

This is where we had breakfast after having worked from about 430AM until maybe 10Am picking bananas. After breakfast, we had to do maintenance and cleaning around the banana plants. In the middle with the red beard is myself, looking a little unlike I do now.

Gardenia in our front garden.

This photo although displaying very poor quality is rare. It is a photo taken in the Church of The Holy Sepulchre in 1980 on a slide, it was originally photocopied and saved as a PDF about twenty years ago. I have recently re-converted it to a .jpg to see how it would turn out. At the time I took this photo, it was very difficult to get access to this church during the period I was in Jerusalem. For me, it is a fantastic memory and reminds me of a determination I once possessed.
